Smooth Concrete Services LTD is currently seeking skilled Structural Metal and Platework Fabricators to join our team in Genesee, AB. If you have experience working with metal and platework, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Lay out reference points and patterns to guide fabrication.
- Assemble and fit plates and sections to create structures.
- Perform welding or bolting to connect metal sections.
- Set up and operate heavy-duty metal-working machines.
- Construct patterns and templates to ensure accuracy.
- Install fabricated components into the final product.
- Rig, hoist, and move materials as needed within the worksite.
- Study engineering drawings and blueprints to determine materials required and plan the sequence of tasks for efficient metal cutting.
Qualifications:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
Additional Information:
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
