Job Description:

Shahab Uddin Inc. is seeking a qualified Staffing Coordinator to join our team in Mississauga, ON. As a Staffing Coordinator, you will be responsible for identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, preparing and posting notices and advertisements, and collecting and screening applicants. Additionally, you will advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions, recruit graduates from educational institutions, arrange and participate in interviews, and co-ordinate selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify current and prospective staffing requirements
  • Prepare and post notices and advertisements
  • Collect and screen applicants
  • Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions
  • Review candidate inventories and arrange interviews
  • Recruit graduates from colleges, universities, and educational institutions
  • Co-ordinate and participate in selection and examination boards
  • Notify applicants of results and prepare job offers
  • Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures
  • Organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
  • Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and co-ordinate termination of employment process
  • Determine eligibility for entitlements and arrange staff training
  • Provide information or services such as employee assistance, counseling, and recognition programs
  • Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is required
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
