Job Description:
Are you looking for a rewarding career in the hospitality industry? Join our team as a Room Attendant at Sandy Beach Suites LTD in Osoyoos, BC. As a Room Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
- Dust and clean furniture to ensure a tidy and welcoming environment.
- Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture for a spotless appearance.
- Make beds and change sheets regularly to maintain a fresh atmosphere.
- Provide clean towels and toiletries to guests and stock the linen closet.
- Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to ensure hygiene.
- Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items promptly and with a smile.
- Offer basic information about our facilities to guests, enhancing their overall experience.
- Maintain lost and found items, and promptly report any incidents.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a pristine environment.
Additional Information:
Security and Safety:
- A criminal record check will be required for this position.
Transportation/Travel Information:
- Candidates must have their own transportation, although public transportation is available.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- The role involves working in a fast-paced environment under pressure and handling physically demanding tasks, including heavy loads and repetitive duties.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask are essential for success in this role.
- The job requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling.

- Uniform will be provided for this position.
