Overview:
Circle K is seeking a Retail Store Supervisor to join their team at their location in Oshawa, ON. The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of the retail store, including assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training staff, and organizing and maintaining inventory. They will also handle customer complaints and ensure the smooth operation of the store.
Responsibilities (Tasks):
- Assign sales workers to duties.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff.
- Authorize payments by cheque.
- Order merchandise and authorize return of merchandise.
- Establish work schedules for employees.
- Sell merchandise to customers.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Organize and maintain inventory of products.
- Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of retail workers.
