Overview:
Yale Sushi is looking for a Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of their restaurant in Chilliwack, BC. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring efficient operations, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily restaurant operations.
- Implement operational procedures and ensure their effective implementation.
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
- Cost products and services to ensure profitability.
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including ordering supplies when needed.
- Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices as required.
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
- Participate in marketing plans and their implementation.
- Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance.
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in restaurant management.
