Overview:
Chickpea Food Truck Inc. is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join their team in Vancouver, BC. This is a full-time position with a term or contract arrangement. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations of the restaurant. They will determine the type of services to be offered, implement operational procedures, conduct performance reviews, cost products and services, organize and maintain inventory, monitor revenues, ensure health and safety regulations are followed, negotiate arrangements with suppliers, develop and implement budgets, participate in marketing plans and implementation, set staff work schedules, monitor staff performance, address customers’ complaints or concerns, provide customer service, and recruit, train, and supervise staff.
Languages:
Fluency in English is required.
Education and Experience:
Candidates should have a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. They should also have 3 years to less than 5 years of relevant experience.
Additional Skills and Experience:
Candidates should have computer and technology knowledge, including proficiency in MS Excel and point of sale systems.
