Overview:
PS REFRIGERATION LTD. is currently looking for Refrigeration Mechanics to join their team. This is a full-time position with a salary of $35.00 per hour. The successful candidates should have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities:
As a Refrigeration Mechanic, your tasks will include:
- Measuring and laying out reference points for installation
- Assembling and installing refrigeration or air conditioning components
- Measuring, cutting, and connecting piping using welding and brazing equipment
- Starting up the system and testing for leaks using testing devices
- Recharging the system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators, calibrating the system, and performing routine maintenance or servicing
- Installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration, and air conditioning systems
- Handling, recovering, and storing refrigerants
- Repairing and replacing parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems
- Reading and interpreting blueprints
