Overview:
Trademarks Properties Inc., located in Winnipeg, MB, is seeking a skilled Plumber to join their team. This is a full-time position with permanent employment, and the working hours will be 32 hours per week. The hourly wage for this role is $34.65. As a Plumber, your responsibilities will include reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems. You will also install, repair, and maintain domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
Responsibilities:
Your tasks as a Plumber may include:
- Reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
- Installing, repairing, and maintaining domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
- Locating and marking positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
- Cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
- Joining pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
- Testing pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
- Determining piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
- Estimating costs and materials.
- Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes to the required shape and size.
Experience:
You should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in the plumbing field.
