Overview:
Galaxy IDP Construction Ltd. is currently seeking skilled Painters to join their team in Delta, BC. This is a full-time position offering flexible working hours with opportunities for overtime. The role involves preparing surfaces and applying paint, wallpaper, and other finishes to both interior and exterior surfaces.
Responsibilities:
As a Painter with Galaxy IDP Construction Ltd., your tasks will include:
- Preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted.
- Repairing cracks and holes in walls or surfaces.
- Mixing paint to achieve desired colors and textures.
- Measuring, cutting, and applying wallpaper and other wall coverings.
- Providing advice to clients on color choices and wall coverings.
- Applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
Requirements:
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience: You should have at least 1 year of experience in painting or a related field.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in preparing surfaces and applying paint or wallpaper.
- Knowledge of color mixing and matching techniques.
- Ability to repair cracks and holes in walls.
- Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics.
