Northwind Installations Ltd. is currently seeking an Office Clerk to join their team in Whitehorse, YT. This is a full-time position with permanent employment. The Office Clerk will be responsible for various administrative tasks such as typing and proofreading correspondence, processing documents, providing customer service, and organizing office work.


  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Work Setting: The job is located in a rural area.


  • Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
  • Receive and forward telephone or electronic inquiries.
  • Maintain and prepare reports from manual or electronic files, inventories, mailing lists, and databases.
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail manually or electronically.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks.
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information.
  • Prepare invoices and bank deposits.
  • Provide general information to clients and the public.
  • Photocopy and collate documents for distribution, mailing, and filing.
  • Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
  • File material in the storage area.
  • Label files according to retention and disposal schedules.
  • Organize and schedule office work.
  • Perform data entry.
  • Provide customer service.

Additional information:

  • Transportation/Travel Information: The candidate must have their own transportation, including a valid driver’s license.
