Job Description:
RANJEET TRANSPORT LTD. is seeking dedicated Long Haul Drivers to transport goods and materials between destinations. As a Long Haul Driver, you will be responsible for operating and driving straight or articulated trucks. You will also perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as oversee the condition of the vehicle and conduct maintenance and repairs as needed. Your role will also involve recording important information such as cargo details, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload goods
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
- Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
- Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
- Perform preventive maintenance on the truck
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch
- Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
Requirements:
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required
- Experience is not necessary; training will be provided
- Valid Driver’s License (Class 1 or A) is required

- Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
