Overview:
Florencia Stevens is seeking a Live-in Caregiver for persons with disabilities in Oliver, BC. This is a full-time position with a salary of $22.00 per hour and 30 to 40 hours of work per week. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing personal care, assistance with daily activities, and support to clients with disabilities.
Responsibilities:
As a Live-in Caregiver, your tasks may include:
- Administering bedside and personal care to clients
- Assisting clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- Administering medications as required
- Assisting clients with regular exercise, such as walking
- Changing non-sterile dressings
- Collecting specimens
- Feeding or assisting in feeding clients
- Laundering clothing and household linens
- Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Providing companionship to clients
- Shopping for food and household supplies
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals to clients
Credentials:
Certificates, Licences, Memberships, and Courses:
- CPR Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- Health Care Aide Certificate
- Personal Support Worker Certificate
