Overview:
EDO JAPAN RESTAURANT is seeking Kitchen Helpers to join their team in Sylvan Lake, AB. This is a full-time permanent position with a weekly schedule of 35 to 40 hours. The start date is to be determined. As a Kitchen Helper, your responsibilities will include cleaning and sanitizing kitchen items and equipment, operating dishwashers, washing dishes by hand, handling and storing cleaning products, and assisting in basic food preparation.
Responsibilities:
As a Kitchen Helper, your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and sanitizing items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units
- Operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
- Sanitizing and washing dishes and other items by hand
- Scouring pots and pans
- Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
- Handling and storing cleaning products
- Receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
- Removing kitchen garbage and trash
- Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors
- Washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit
