Overview:
MDF Mechanical Limited is seeking an HVAC Mechanic to join their team in Brampton, Ontario. The HVAC Mechanic will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The tasks include measuring and laying out reference points for installation, assembling and installing components, connecting piping using welding and brazing equipment, and providing customer service.
Requirements:
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required. Training will be provided.
- Experience: Will train candidates who show interest and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Measure and lay out reference points for installation
- Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
- Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
- Provide customer service
- Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices
- Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system, and perform routine maintenance or servicing
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul entire HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Handle, recover, and store refrigerants
- Install, maintain, and repair equipment in refrigerated trucks used to transport food or medical supplies
- Repair and replace parts and components for entire HVAC, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems
