Job Description:
Are you passionate about maintaining a clean and welcoming environment? We have an exciting opportunity for a Housekeeping Room Attendant at Econolodge Inn and Suites in North Vancouver, BC. As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay.
Responsibilities:
- Keep the premises tidy and presentable by sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
- Dust and clean furniture for a neat and inviting atmosphere.
- Vacuum carpets, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain cleanliness.
- Make beds and change sheets regularly, providing guests with a fresh and cozy setting.
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries to ensure guests’ comfort.
- Stock the linen closet with sufficient supplies for guests’ needs.
- Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to ensure hygiene.
- Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items promptly and courteously.
- Provide basic information about our facilities, enhancing the guests’ overall experience.
- Maintain lost and found items and promptly report any incidents.
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers for a clean and organized environment.
- Wash windows, walls, and ceilings, contributing to a pristine appearance.

Security and Safety:
- A criminal record check will be required for this position.
Transportation/Travel Information:
- Candidates must have their own transportation, although public transportation is available.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- The role involves working in a fast-paced environment under pressure and handling physically demanding tasks, including heavy loads and repetitive duties.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are essential for success in this role.
- The job requires a combination of sitting, standing, walking, as well as bending, crouching, and kneeling.
