Job Description:
Weyburn Circle 6 Motel Inc is currently seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to join our team in Weyburn, SK. As a Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel. Your duties will include developing and implementing policies and procedures, recruiting and hiring staff, conducting performance reviews, negotiating with suppliers for materials and supplies, conducting training sessions, preparing budgets and monitoring revenues and expenses, implementing marketing activities, arranging and overseeing maintenance activities, enforcing policies and procedures, addressing customer complaints or concerns, assisting clients/guests with special needs, and developing and implementing business plans.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations
- Recruit and hire staff
- Supervise staff
- Conduct performance reviews
- Negotiate with suppliers for the provision of materials and supplies
- Conduct training sessions
- Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities
- Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses
- Prepare marketing plans
- Implement marketing activities
- Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities
- Enforce policies and procedures
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns
- Assist clients/guests with special needs
- Develop and implement business plans
- Establish work schedules
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience
