Overview:
Alvin Sumilang is currently seeking a Home Support Worker to provide care and assistance to clients in Scarborough, ON. This is a full-time position offered on a term or contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting clients with personal hygiene, household tasks, and providing companionship.
Responsibilities:
As a Home Support Worker for Alvin Sumilang, your tasks will include:
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene, including bathing and other aspects of personal care.
- Assisting clients in regular exercise, such as walking.
- Providing assistance in feeding and preparing and serving nutritious meals.
- Laundering clothing and household linens.
- Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Providing companionship and engaging in conversation with clients.
- Assuming full responsibility for the household in the absence of the householder.
Requirements:
Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Experience: Candidates should have 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
Work Environment: The work site environment is non-smoking, and optional accommodation is available at no charge on a live-in basis. However, live-in accommodation is NOT a condition of employment.
