Overview:
Shalu’s Hair & Beauty Salon in Abbotsford, BC, is looking for Hairstylists to join their team. This is a full-time position with permanent employment. The hourly wage for this role is $17.00, and the work schedule is 35 hours per week. As a Hairstylist, your responsibilities will include analyzing hair and scalp condition and providing basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair, applying bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair, cleaning and styling wigs and hairpieces, and cutting, trimming, tapering, curling, waving, perming, and styling hair.
Responsibilities:
Your tasks as a Hairstylist may include:
- Analyzing hair and scalp condition and providing basic treatment or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair.
- Applying bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair.
- Cleaning and styling wigs and hairpieces.
- Cutting, trimming, tapering, curling, waving, perming, and styling hair.
Experience and Education:
To be eligible for this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
