Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 hourly (to be negotiated) / 32 to 40 hours per week

Job Description:
Chatters Salon is seeking skilled Hairstylists to join our team at the Oshawa location. If you have a passion for hairstyling, creativity, and a dedication to providing excellent customer service, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Book appointments for clients.
- Shampoo customers’ hair.
- Analyze hair and scalp condition, providing basic treatments or advice on beauty care treatments for scalp and hair.
- Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair.
- Apply hair extensions.
- Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair.
- Suggest hair styles compatible with clients’ physical features or determine styles from clients’ instructions and preferences.
- Perform receptionist duties.
- Maintain and order supplies.
Qualifications:
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
Credentials:
- Hairstylist Licence.
Experience and Specialization:
- Hair styling techniques, including blow drying, iron waving/curling, permanents, and roller setting.
- Hair coloring techniques, such as bleach, dyes/tints, frosting, and streaking/highlights.
