Overview:
MyTripBookers Tours and Travel Ltd is seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join their team in Burnaby, BC. This is a full-time permanent position with a weekly workload of 40 hours. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for estimating costs of materials and time to complete graphic designs and illustrations, adapting existing illustrations, consulting with clients to determine the nature and content of illustrations to meet their communications needs, producing 2-D and 3-D animated drawings or computer illustrations, coordinating all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials, establishing guidelines for illustrators or photographers, preparing sketches, layouts, and graphic elements, and advertising and/or promoting products, sales, or services.

Languages:
Fluency in English is required.

Education and Experience:
The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and have 3 years to less than 5 years of relevant experience.

Computer and Technology Knowledge:
The candidate should be proficient in various software, including Adobe Freehand, Corel Draw, AutoCAD, Linux, InDesign, Adobe Suite, MS Office, Social Media, WordPress, Adobe Illustrator, HTML, and XHTML.

Work Setting:
The Graphic Designer will work in a corporation and YouTube environment, providing design services for the company’s materials.

Security and Safety:
The candidate will need to undergo a basic security clearance and a criminal record check.

Transportation/Travel Information:
Public transportation is available for commuting.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with attention to detail. Sitting for extended periods and handling a large workload with tight deadlines is expected.
