Job Overview:

The Furniture Packer will be responsible for transporting raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment. They will also check and weigh materials and products, sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products, and assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers. The role may involve performing other laboring and elemental activities and cleaning machines and immediate work areas.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
The Furniture Packer’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Transporting raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment.
- Checking and weighing materials and products.
- Sorting, packing, crating, and packaging materials and products.
- Assisting machine operators, assemblers, and other workers.
- Performing other laboring and elemental activities.
- Cleaning machines and immediate work areas.

Transportation/Travel Information:
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- Public transportation is available.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
- The work environment may be fast-paced and noisy.

Weight Handling:
- The ability to handle up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is required.
Own Tools/Equipment:
