Job Overview:
PC FOODS LTD is seeking Food Counter Attendants to join their team in Nanaimo, BC. The attendants will be responsible for packaging take-out food, preparing and serving simple food items, and assisting customers at counters or buffet tables.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
The Food Counter Attendant’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Packaging take-out food for customers.
- Portioning and wrapping foods for efficient service.
- Preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items as needed.
- Serving customers at counters or buffet tables to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Stocking refrigerators and salad bars with fresh food items.
- Taking customers’ orders and ensuring accuracy in order preparation.
Experience and Qualifications:
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
