Overview:
1313 9. FARMS LTD. is currently hiring for the position of Farm Workers Supervisor in Surrey, BC. This is a full-time permanent position with a weekly workload of 40 hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers. Ensuring farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, maintaining quality control and production records, supervising and overseeing growing and other crop-related operations, and maintaining work records and logs are some of the tasks included in this role.
Languages:
Fluency in English is required for this position.
Education and Experience:
A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required. Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not mandatory. Training will be provided as needed.
Responsibilities:
As a Farm Workers Supervisor, your main tasks will include:
- Coordinating and supervising the work of general farm workers and harvesting laborers
- Ensuring farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
- Maintaining quality control and production records
- Supervising and overseeing growing and other crop-related operations
- Maintaining work records and logs
- Hiring and training staff as required
