Overview:
Canadian Nature Roots LTD., located in Stratford, PE, is seeking two Farm Supervisors to join their team. This is a full-time position with a permanent employment opportunity. The hourly wage for this role is $19.00, with a bi-weekly schedule of 80 hours. As a Farm Supervisor, you will be responsible for fruit tree training, tying, weeding, coordinating and supervising the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers, developing work schedules and establishing procedures, ensuring farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, maintaining quality control and production records, supervising and overseeing growing and other crop-related operations, maintaining work records and logs, hiring and training staff, and performing general farm duties.

Responsibilities:
Your tasks as a Farm Supervisor may include:

  • Fruit tree training, tying, and weeding.
  • Coordinating and supervising the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers.
  • Developing work schedules and establishing procedures.
  • Ensuring farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed.
  • Maintaining quality control and production records.
  • Supervising and overseeing growing and other crop-related operations.
  • Maintaining work records and logs.
  • Hiring and training staff.
  • Performing general farm duties.

Experience and Specialization:
You should have the following experience and knowledge:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Type of Crops: Apples.
