Job Description:
Red Swan Pizza is looking for a skilled Cook to join our team at our Orillia location. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. You will also plan menus, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor supplies to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Accommodate customers with food allergies or intolerances when preparing dishes.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements and costs.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Train kitchen staff and helpers in food preparation and handling.
- Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and organized environment.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
Work Conditions:
- Fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
