Overview:
EVIN CONSTRUCTION GROUP BC CORP. is seeking two experienced Construction Project Engineers to join their team in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Construction Project Engineers will be responsible for overseeing land survey or construction work, conducting feasibility studies, economic analyses, traffic studies, environmental impact studies, and other investigations. They will also be involved in field services for civil works, confer with clients and engineering team members, ensure construction plans meet building codes and regulations, establish and monitor construction schedules, and design major civil projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, dams, water and waste management systems, and structural steel fabrications.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Experience: 5 years or more
Responsibilities:
- Act as project or site supervisor for land survey or construction work
- Conduct feasibility studies, economic analyses, municipal and regional traffic studies, environmental impact studies, or other investigations
- Conduct field services for civil works
- Confer with clients and other members of the engineering team and conduct research to determine project requirements
- Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations
- Establish and monitor construction work schedules
- Interpret, review, and approve survey and civil design work
- Monitor air, water, and soil quality and develop procedures to clean up contaminated sites
- Plan and design major civil projects such as buildings, roads, bridges, dams, water and waste management systems, and structural steel fabrications
