Job Overview:
Bawarchi Indian Cuisine, located in Montréal, QC, is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to join their team. The Cleaning Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of cleaning staff, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met, and maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
The Cleaning Supervisor’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Hiring and training or arranging training for cleaning staff.
- Supervising and coordinating the activities of workers.
- Inspecting sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.
- Preparing budget and cost estimates for cleaning supplies and services.
- Recommending or arranging for additional maintenance services as needed.
- Assisting cleaners in performing their duties when required.
- Coordinating work activities with other departments to ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the entire establishment.
- Establishing work schedules for the cleaning staff.
Supervision:
The Cleaning Supervisor will supervise 1 to 2 people.
Experience and Qualifications:
- The candidate should have 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
- A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
