Overview:
The Nussbaum Family is seeking a Child Care Provider to work in their home located in North York, ON. The Child Care Provider will be responsible for supervising and caring for children, assuming full household responsibilities in the absence of parents, performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and providing nutritious meals to the children.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
Work Environment:
- Work setting: Employer’s home
- Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis (Note: This is NOT a condition of employment).
- Work site environment: Non-smoking, Scent-free.
Responsibilities:
- Assume full responsibility for the household when parents are absent.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
- Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Supervise and care for children, including a multi-aged group of children.
