Overview:
MARC Global Technologies Ltd. is seeking an experienced Chauffeurs and Taxi Drivers Supervisor to join their team in Nanaimo, BC. This is a full-time position offering permanent employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of taxi drivers and chauffeurs.
Responsibilities:
As a Chauffeurs and Taxi Drivers Supervisor at MARC Global Technologies Ltd., your tasks will include:
- Preparing production and other reports for management.
- Supervising workers and projects, ensuring they are carried out efficiently.
- Training or arranging for training of taxi drivers and chauffeurs.
- Coordinating and scheduling activities to meet business demands.
- Ensuring that health and safety regulations are followed by all drivers.
- Recommending personnel actions, including hiring and disciplinary measures.
- Coordinating repairs and rentals of vehicles as needed.
- Resolving work problems and recommending measures to improve work methods.
Requirements:
Education: A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience is required.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in the taxi and limousine industry.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong supervisory skills to lead and manage a team of 3-4 drivers.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with drivers and management.
- Flexibility and organizational skills to handle various tasks and schedules.
