Overview:
Circle K is seeking a Cashier to join their team in Edmonton, AB. This is a full-time position with a salary of $15.00 to $17.00 per hour. The successful candidate should have a secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience. No prior experience is required as training will be provided.

Responsibilities:
As a Cashier, your tasks may include:

• Operating the cash register
• Processing payments including money, cheques, and credit/debit card transactions
• Scanning items for purchase
• Receiving payment for goods or services
• Calculating daily/shift payments received and reconciling with total sales
• Suggestive selling to customers
• Stocking shelves and maintaining a clean counter area
• Greeting customers and providing customer service
• Verifying the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products

Experience and Specialization:
The employer is willing to train candidates for this position. Familiarity with electronic cash registers, Interac machines, price scanners, and computerized inventory record-keeping systems is beneficial.

Work Conditions:
The job involves a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. Attention to detail is essential.
