Overview:
Cloud 9 Brokerage Inc. is currently seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team in Edmonton, AB. This is a full-time permanent position with a weekly workload of 37.5 hours. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining financial records, establishing, maintaining, and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, posting journal entries, preparing financial statements and accounting reports, preparing tax returns, preparing trial balance of books, and reconciling accounts.
Languages:
Fluency in English is required.
Education and Experience:
The candidate should possess a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience and have 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
Work Setting:
The candidate must be willing to relocate for the job as relocation costs are not covered by the employer.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
The role involves attention to detail and working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and possible overtime.
