Overview:
Blenz Coffee is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join their team as Baristas at their coffee shop in Kelowna, BC. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving coffee and other beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Responsibilities:
As a Barista at Blenz Coffee, your tasks will include:

  • Bringing clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and setting tables.
  • Cleaning and sanitizing items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
  • Clearing and cleaning tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
  • Sanitizing and washing dishes and other items by hand.
  • Portioning and wrapping foods.
  • Handling and storing cleaning products.
  • Removing kitchen garbage and trash.
  • Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.

Requirements:
Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required. Willing to train the right candidate.

Experience: Previous experience as a Barista is not required but considered an asset.

Work Conditions: The work environment is fast-paced, and the tasks may involve repetitive actions. Baristas should be able to handle work pressure effectively.

Weight Handling: Baristas may be required to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) of items during their work.

Personal Suitability: The ideal candidate for this position should be client-focused, a team player, and able to provide excellent customer service.
