As an Accounting Technician, you will be responsible for various accounting tasks in a transportation company.
Requirements:
- Education: College/CEGEP
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
- Language: English
Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Technician at PROMINENT TRANSPORTATION INC, your tasks will include:
- Calculating and preparing cheques for payroll.
- Keeping financial records and maintaining and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Maintaining general ledgers and financial statements.
- Posting journal entries.
- Preparing other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
- Preparing the trial balance of books.
- Reconciling accounts.
Experience and Specialization:
The Accounting Technician should have knowledge in the following areas:
- Accounting software, MS Windows, QuickBooks, and MS Office.
