Overview:
First Choice Beverage Inc. is currently hiring for the position of Supervisor, Food and Beverage Processing in Mississauga, ON. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of $17.56 per hour. As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for training staff and workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, recommending personnel actions such as hiring and promotions, preparing production and other reports, and supervising and coordinating the activities of workers.
Responsibilities:
As a Supervisor, your tasks may include:
- Training staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
- Recommending personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
- Preparing production and other reports.
- Recommending measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Supervising, coordinating, and scheduling (and possibly reviewing) activities of workers.
- Establishing methods to meet work schedules and coordinating work activities with other work units.
- Identifying, evaluating, controlling, and preventing hazards at all stages of the food production process.
- Requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies.
Supervision:
You will be supervising 3-4 people in this role.
