Position: Security Alarms Technician

Location: 1640 California Ave, Brockville, ON K6V 5Y6

Salary: $50,000 to $60,000 annually (to be negotiated) / 35 to 40 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Start Date: Starts as soon as possible

Who can apply to this job?

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment, specializing in alarm/security systems, cameras, and security and surveillance systems.
• Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults.
• Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports.
• Connect cables, tubes, and wires at various locations, including in-shop and on-site customer service.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in security alarms and related electronic equipment.
• Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office, MS Windows, MS Word, networks, wireless networks.
• Instrument experience: Electronic.
• Physical capabilities: Attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling. Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Personal suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, team player, values, and ethics, reliability.

• Vehicle supplied by the employer.
