Overview:
Freshii (Dakota St) is seeking a Kitchen Helper to join their team in Winnipeg, MB. The position involves assisting in various kitchen tasks such as keeping records of food quantities, packaging take-out food, preparing and finishing simple food items, taking customers’ orders, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen. The candidate should have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate, and previous experience is an asset but not required.
Responsibilities (Tasks):
- Keep records of the quantities of food used.
- Package take-out food.
- Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
- Take customers’ orders.
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
- Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
