Overview:
Andrea’s Hotel is looking for Kitchen Helpers to join their team in Watson Lake, YT. As a kitchen helper, you will assist in food preparation and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment. The position offers flexible hours and staff accommodation is provided.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation.
- Operate kitchen equipment and machinery such as conventional ovens, deep fryers, food dispensers, and grills.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Handle and store food ingredients and supplies.
- Perform repetitive tasks as needed.
Additional Information:
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: The job may involve a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure. The weight handling may be up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
