Job Overview:
Kuma Games Inc. is seeking an experienced Information Technology (IT) Director to join their team in Vancouver, BC. The IT Director will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily IT operations. They will develop and implement policies and procedures for information systems, manage the budget and expenditures, authorize product or service specifications, and oversee projects and programs. Additionally, the IT Director will interact with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
The IT Director’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Planning and controlling the budget and expenditures for IT projects and operations.
- Establishing and implementing policies and procedures for information systems.
- Authorizing the development of specifications for IT products or services.
- Recruiting, training, and supervising IT staff.
- Assigning, coordinating, and reviewing IT projects and programs.
- Meeting with clients to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines.
Experience and Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- They should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in IT management.
