Overview:
EMPEROR EXPRESS LTD, located in Surrey, BC, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Officer to join their team. As a Human Resources Officer, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of the recruitment process, including identifying staffing requirements, screening applicants, conducting interviews, and preparing job offers. Additionally, you will oversee staff consultation and grievance procedures, determine entitlements, and arrange staff training.
Responsibilities:
- Identify current and future staffing requirements within the organization.
- Prepare and post notices and advertisements for job openings.
- Collect and screen job applicants to assess their qualifications and suitability for roles.
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions.
- Review candidate inventories to ensure the selection of suitable candidates.
- Contact potential applicants and schedule interviews.
- Coordinate and participate in selection and examination boards to evaluate candidates.
- Notify applicants of the results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
- Organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures.
- Determine eligibility for entitlements and arrange staff training as needed.
- Supervise personnel clerks who handle filing, typing, and record-keeping duties.
