Overview:
HELL CRUST, a restaurant located in Burnaby, BC, is currently hiring for the position of Food Service Supervisor. This is a full-time permanent position with a weekly workload of 40 hours. The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for establishing methods to meet work schedules, supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, estimating and ordering ingredients and supplies, ensuring food service and quality control, addressing customers’ complaints or concerns, maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, supervising and checking assembly of trays, and establishing work schedules.
Languages:
Fluency in English is required for this position.
Education and Experience:
A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required. The candidate should have 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the food service industry.
Responsibilities:
As a Food Service Supervisor, your main tasks will include:
- Establishing methods to meet work schedules
- Supervising and coordinating activities of staff who prepare and portion food
