Overview:
W & M Wire & Metal Product Ltd. is currently seeking a skilled Draftsperson to join their team in Woodbridge, ON. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of $28.00 per hour. As a Draftsperson, you will be responsible for preparing engineering designs and drawings, supervising and training other drafting personnel, and contributing to the development of technical reports and specifications.

Responsibilities:
As a Draftsperson, your tasks may include:

• Preparing engineering designs and drawings for various projects.
• Supervising and providing training to other drafting personnel.
• Developing and creating design sketches for review and implementation.
• Writing technical reports to document project details and progress.
• Writing specifications for materials and processes.
• Estimating costs and required materials for projects.
• Completing documentation packages and drawing sets for projects.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.

Requirements:
Education:

• College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience:

• 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience.

Computer and Technology Knowledge:

• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Windows, and internet usage.

Area of Specialization:

• Mechanical drafting.
