1313450 B.C. Ltd. is currently hiring a Clerk for their Hotel Front Desk in Merritt, BC. This is a full-time, permanent position with a salary of $18.00 per hour. The Hotel Front Desk Clerk will be responsible for various front desk duties, including registering guests, processing reservations, providing information on hotel facilities and services, and handling customer inquiries and complaints.
Responsibilities:
As a Clerk at the Hotel Front Desk, your tasks may include:
- Registering arriving guests and assigning rooms.
- Processing group arrivals and departures.
- Taking, canceling, and changing room reservations.
- Providing information on hotel facilities and services.
- Offering general information about points of interest in the area.
- Investigating and resolving guest complaints and claims.
- Performing clerical duties, such as faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Answering telephone calls and relaying messages.
- Assisting clients/guests with special needs.
- Handling wake-up calls.
Requirements:
Education:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience:
- Experience in a similar role would be an asset.
Work Conditions:
- Day, evening, weekend, shift, overtime, and morning shifts may be required.
