Job Description:
STANA CONSTRUCTION is seeking experienced Carpenter Helpers to join our team in Cornwall, ON. This is a green job as it involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes. As a Carpenter Helper, you will work alongside skilled carpenters, assisting them with various tasks related to construction projects. Your role will involve supporting carpenters in measuring, cutting, and assembling materials, as well as maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist skilled carpenters in their daily tasks.
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials as directed.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Clean and prepare construction sites to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
- Contribute to positive environmental outcomes in construction projects.
Requirements:
- Bilingual language skills (English and Vietnamese).
- Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years or more of relevant experience in carpentry.
- Must have necessary equipment for remote work (i.e., internet, home office, etc.).
