Job Description:
Devine Custom Homes Ltd is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team in Calgary. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for various financial tasks, including preparing payroll cheques, maintaining financial records, and reconciling accounts. You will work with manual and computerized bookkeeping systems to ensure accurate and organized financial data.
Responsibilities:
- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
- Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
- Post journal entries and reconcile accounts.
- Prepare financial statements and other accounting reports.
- Complete tax returns and maintain general ledgers.
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks and handle financial records.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, and QuickBooks.
