Maple Drywall Ltd. is currently seeking an Electrician to join their team in Edmonton, AB. This is a full-time position with permanent employment. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial structures. The role involves working with underground wiring and cables, electrical controls, and panel boxes, as well as troubleshooting and conducting preventive maintenance programs.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience.
- Work Setting: Relocation costs will be covered by the employer.
Responsibilities:
- Install underground wiring and cables.
- Install, replace, and repair electrical controls and panel boxes.
- Splice, join, and connect wires.
- Test and measure voltage, loads, and ground faults integrity of circuits.
- Troubleshoot and isolate faults in electrical systems.
- Connect power to audio and visual equipment.
- Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.
- Conduct preventive maintenance programs to ensure proper functioning of electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications related to electrical work.
Credentials:
- Electrician Trade Certification.
