Overview:
10091548 Manitoba Limited is seeking a Shift Manager to work at their fast-food restaurant located in Winnipeg, MB. As the Shift Manager, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the restaurant staff during your shift.
Responsibilities:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure smooth operations during the shift.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies needed for the shift.
- Hire food service staff as required.
- Ensure food service and quality control standards are maintained.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates for the shift’s operations.
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage during the shift.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- Supervise and check assembly of trays and food orders.
- Establish work schedules for staff during the shift.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role within a restaurant setting.
