Overview:
Chefs Bite is seeking skilled Cooks to join their team in Legal, AB. This is a full-time position with a salary of $29.35 per hour. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods. Additionally, you will plan menus, estimate food requirements and costs, monitor and order supplies, inspect kitchens and food service areas, train staff, and supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
Responsibilities:
As a Cook, your tasks may include:
- Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Planning menus, determining size of food portions, estimating food requirements and costs, and monitoring and ordering supplies.
- Inspecting kitchens and food service areas.
- Training staff in food preparation, cooking, and food handling.
- Supervising kitchen staff and helpers.
- Cleaning kitchen and work areas.
- Organizing and managing buffets and banquets.
Experience and Education:
To be eligible for this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
