Overview:
1181778 B.C.LTD is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join their team in North Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate should have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and possess 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Establish methods to meet work schedules.
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies for the cafeteria.
- Ensure food service and quality control.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates for food services.
- Address customers’ complaints or concerns regarding the cafeteria.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef’s reference.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays in the cafeteria.
- Establish work schedules for cafeteria staff.
Supervision:
The candidate will supervise 1 to 2 people working in the cafeteria.

- Working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Exposure to noise, odours, and outdoor conditions in the cafeteria.
- Physically demanding job that may involve walking and other physical activities.
