Salary: $13.00 to $13.25 hourly (to be negotiated) / 25 to 40 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Part-time leading to full-time

Job Overview:
Talayahs Southern Grill is looking to hire two dishwashers for their restaurant in Saskatoon, SK. The role involves various tasks related to dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, and food preparation.

Responsibilities and Tasks:
The dishwasher’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Bringing clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and setting tables.
2. Carrying and replacing linen.
3. Cleaning and sanitizing items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
4. Clearing and cleaning tables, trays, and chairs.
5. Loading buspans and trays.
6. Operating dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
7. Placing dishes in storage areas.
8. Replenishing condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas.
9. Sanitizing and washing dishes and other items by hand.
10. Scouring pots and pans.
11. Keeping records of the quantities of food used.
12. Packaging take-out food.
13. Portioning and wrapping foods.
14. Preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items.
15. Serving customers at counters or buffet tables.
16. Stocking refrigerators and salad bars.
17. Taking customers’ orders.
18. Using manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs.
19. Cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
20. Handling and storing cleaning products.
21. Receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
22. Removing kitchen garbage and trash.
23. Sharpening kitchen knives.
24. Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
25. Washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.

Credentials:

• Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
• Food Service worker certificate

Experience and Specialization:

• 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience
• Equipment and machinery experience: Conventional oven, Deep fryer, Electronic cash register, Food dispensers, Grill

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
