1181778 B.C.LTD is seeking an Administrative Assistant – Office to join their team in North Vancouver, BC. The ideal candidate should have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and possess 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Supervise other workers within the office.
- Schedule and confirm appointments.
- Answer telephone calls and relay messages.
- Respond to electronic inquiries.
- Compile data, statistics, and other information.
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
- Respond to employee questions and complaints.
- Plan and control budget and expenditures.
- Oversee the preparation of reports.
- Establish and implement policies and procedures.
- Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants.
- Advise senior management on office matters.
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily office operations.
The candidate will supervise 1 to 2 people in the office.
Experience and Specialization:
The candidate should have the following experience and knowledge:
- Computer and technology knowledge, particularly in MS Word.
- Familiarity with technical terminology related to business operations.
- Experience in handling correspondence, reports, records, contracts, and invoices.
